Export Pricing Guide
A step-by-step framework to accurately calculate your CIF total.
Ex-Works (EXW) Price
Your factory-gate price. Decide here whether you're quoting per kg, per unit/pc, per liter, or per MT — this locks in the basis for every row that follows.
Export Packing
Work out your carton/labelling cost on the same basis as EXW and enter it here.
Inland Transport
Factory → port/airport charge, divided down to the same per kg/unit/pc/liter/MT basis as EXW.
Port Handling (THC)
Stuffing, loading and terminal charges — same basis again.
Customs & Docs
CHA fees, Shipping Bill, CoO, fumigation — same basis.
Ocean/Air Freight
Main-leg freight quote, converted to the same basis (carriers often quote per kg or per container — divide it down yourself first).
Marine Insurance
Usually 0.1–0.5% of CIF — same basis as everything else.
Before you calculate
Double-check every row above used the same per kg/unit/pc/liter/MT basis as row 1. That's what makes the CIF total accurate.
